Product looked very well built. Will not work if you plan to use OEM chrome hub cover.

Locking hubs. They look good, but it's what's inside that counts. Replaced original hubs on a 66 CJ5. Appear well made and very easy to install. Ready to put this ole CJ through her paces.

My '86 CJ-7 stock hubs went out. I naturally went to the well-known "Warn" brand, but decided to keep researching. I found these hubs and decided to go for it based off reviews. Install was extremely easy, just pay attention to the final step when installing the cap. You have to make sure your turn it and align it properly or it will lock and stay in lock. Once you align it, it's extremely smooth and easy to lock/unlock. They're heavy and heavy duty. I'm sure I won't need to replace them again for many years, but if so, I'll put Mile Marker right back in the same place.

Easy to instal on my 5 bolt dana 30 in my 81 cj7 with 82 scrambler widetracs. No hard rocks here to test on but so far so good in the snow, jeep eats mud and snow with its locker and now that i have drive in the front wheels. Just take out the 5bolts on the old hub, take off the snap ring and slide the old locking gear off, take the 5 allen bolts off the hub and slide the new housing on the axle shaft spline and put the old snap ring back on. Set the stainless cap on with it in the "free" unlocked position and you want the spring steel fingers to sit in the lowest point of the aluminum fingers. From there set the timing by turing counter clockwise till it stops and if the holes for the small allen holes to line up. IF IT DOESNT LINE UP turn clockwise till the spring rides up the ramp and pops back into the hub till it lines the hole lines up. If you dont time it correctly the hub will not function and will be locked or unlocked permenently unless you dissasemble it and do it correctly. Once its timed tighten all hardware (carfull allen head strips easy but you dont want it loose) and function test it by locking and unlocking the hub turning the wheel. It should spin the axle shaft and or the other wheel or driveshaft if hub on other side is locked.

Not pleased with this product... These look great and functioned as they should for a short time but ..... These Lockouts are for a project jeep that does not get driven much, odometer reads less than 2000 miles since install. I have called and emailed the manufacture regarding my issue... "stuck locked in." And i have yet to hear back from them. At this point, the price of a new set is less of an issue than knowing i can trust it.

Bought these rather than the Warns after reading other reviews. These are solid, less moving parts inside, better design IMO. Took about 20 mins per side, including removing and replacing the wheels (makes it easier depending on your wheel spacing and tire size). Went right on with no issues. Good solid lock/unlock feel and detents on the dial.
