The 426 hubs are an easy-to-install replacement for vacuum locking hubs on older Ford Rangers (’98 – ’00) and Mazda’s (B3000/B4000 ’01-’08). Construction of this hub features a nylon reinforced dial and a brushed aluminum jacket. Use fitment and User guide for exact fitment questions. If converting from automatic hubs, a nut conversion kit is required on some applications.

Both hubs broke the first time I used them on the trail. The failure point was literally made of plastic.

Didn't take long at all to install and I was in serious need of 4x4 for the snow that we where getting. Parked truck in driveway and had them installed in less than 15mins. They are super smooth and even after freezing Temps they go in and out of lock and free so smooth, if you are on the fence about it I say don't be do it and you won't regret it just take your time make sure everything is perfect and they will be perfect

Didn't have to take the wheels off and took less than 30 minutes. I used pieces of welding wire to hold the tabs on the PVH and had no problems. Drives and steers much smoother now (PVH were stuck engaged)

I have a 1999 ford ranger XLT, it came with those pulse vacuum hubs that supposedly go bad after a short time. I got these just to see if they work, and after about 30 minutes i had the old ones off and the new manual hubs on. I went and hit a mud hole and a muddy hill, both of which i got stuck on with the old hubs, and this ranger went right thru it no problem. 4 stars for now, we'll have to see how they hold up. Edit, forgot about this review. My Ranger lasted for a couple more years, and these hubs outlasted the truck unfortunately. Good hubs, locking that front in and putting it in four low was a life saver in many cases. Got me into and out of some really muddy jobsites, by muddy i mean looking almost like a ww1 battle ground, and through that Ohio ice and snow in the winter.

I haven't used my 4wd a lot since I installed these, they were a very easy install. My first set was really banged up for shipping so I exchanged them for another set. They lock in just fine but getting them to unlock can sometimes be a pain.

We bought a used 99 Ford Ranger for my husband and he was extremely unhappy when the 4 wheel drive didn’t work and he got stuck in the snow.I got these for him and he installed them. There are several videos that show you how if you look for them. Well, they fit perfectly and have worked great! According to him they were easy to install and have worked exactly as stated.

Great product. If you have an older Ford Ranger or Mazda b series with the vacuum pulse hubs, these are a must get. I found out the hard way not to put any trust in the vacuum pulse system: truck on beach, pulling out a boat at low tide. Luckily, after I realized I was only spinning the back wheels, I was able to find someone to pull me out before the tide came in. With these hubs, you know they are locked. The product is well made, very easy to install (many youtube tutorials. I used 5 saber saw blades to pop the old hubs out), and worth every penny.

Installed these on my 2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 after replacing the twice failed Rugged Ridge (GARBAGE!!) version. Mile Marker quality is much better. Extra locking tabs are a bonus to hold them on. Installation was very easy. Slid right on, 1/2 hour and Done (the Rugged Ridge hubs fell off) and my four wheel drive works now without the old hubs falling off driving down the road or not engaging at all.
