It’s plenty big enough for most things but wish it had one flat side. It comes with a centering pin to center it when installing it.

This is Not Universal! Does not even fit the very common Chicago Electric or Performax brand plunge routers.

Works great for Ridgid palm router. Very easy to attach and wide base helps steady on edge routing.

This router plate is a very thin piece of plastic. It is not a simple task to mount it to the bottom of your router. Being in two parts you have to separate the two plates. This is not easy as you have to counter rotate the top from the bottom—two screws connect the two plates. When securing the bottom plate to the router not all the “universal” holes line up. In my case I am using a Milwaukee trim router which uses four screws…only three can work. Also, because the opening is small to accommodate a brass router guide it is limited as to size of router bit when not using the guide. At that point you want to remove this base so you can use the bigger opening of the one supplied by your manufacturer…you struggle to get this base off with all the steps required—-I just went back to using the two supplied router bases…and threw this cheaply made and struggle prone base in the trash. It definitely did not make my trim router work easier or more efficient.
