Expected to receive a military gear looking tactical jacket,but received a jacket that material quality is so bad that it looks like a pajama with hilarious loose sleeves.

Con una taglia in meno calza perfetto. Non è vero che ha forme strane, semplicemente è corto in vita come tanti giubbotti militari (anche i Bomber), col marsupio è perfetto.Tiene ben caldo, soprattutto se si è in movimento, tra gli 0 e 10 gradi secondo me è ottimo, se non basta bisogna aggiungere dell'intimo termico. Il tessuto ha un trattamento impermeabilizzante, quindi della pioggia leggere dovrebbe tenerla, con la neve nessun problema. Bisogna considerarlo una specie di maglione, antivento, caldo, sottile che da piegato tiene poco spazio. Il disegno mimetico è molto bello, con colori urbani/notturni molto ben fatti, dal vivo è più discreto di quello che sembra in foto.

La giacca è colorata con un mimetismo particolare chiamato " Splinter " che sembra moderno ma che in realtà ha' origine negli anni 30 , leggera e ben fatta veste abbastanza ampio e tiene bene anche le basse temperature non impedisce i movimenti e credo sopporti anche qualche goccia di pioggia la consiglio a chi ama le colorazioni mimetiche perché con questa trama sono veramente rare .

This is a very warm jacket and well made. I have been surprised that it receives the compliments as much as it does and why not? Its top quality and the side pockets are a bit awkward but very functional and all 3 pockets work well. Shipping was faster than I thought and I was surprised to see that it came from UK. I will buy another eventually.

As all other reviews mentioned, jacket is made in Germany and is about a size smaller than you would expect so order a size up.As far as the quality of the jacket for the price: Excellent. Does a great job of blocking the wind and the fleece lining is very comfortable.The front zipping pocket is quite large and so is the hood. Got free shipping from a merchant in the UK and the product arrived in less than a week.All around a great product/buy. Highly recommend merchant & product.

I love this thing. Its super warm, awesome looking and fits good. I wear a medium, ordered a medium and it fits exactly like a medium. I was worried too because I ordered it AFTER i read the reviews about the sizing. Its made with execellent quality. I got it to run, bike, and hike in and its perfect for all of that. I want another one or two. Blocks the wind and is pretty water resistant.

I ordered big. My measurements were right on the edge of one of the size ranges. I'm glad I did. It's almost too big, but there's plenty of room to layer. It's warmer than expected too. More of late fall/early winter wear. The hand pockets are sort of small, but the chest pocket and hood are huge.It's going to work perfect for the late chilly nights while camping. The camo pattern is unique too... more fashion than military.

Richtig guter windbreaker. Ich hab mir das Muster splinter nights bestellt und war begeistert. Habe mir die Größe bestellt die ich sonst auch trage und es passt wie angegossen. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist wunderbar. Der Kauf hat sich wirklich rentiert. Die Verarbeitung ist auch klasse. Habe nichts auszusetzen. Es ist sogar so das ich mir wünsche das es nochmal kalt werden würde nur um den windbreaker anzuziehen.

Read other reviews and the sizing chart. 42-43" Chest is what I normally wear so ordered an XL and its a roomy fit in the chest. 25.35 oz. weight. Sleeves were just the right length. The neck and hood are on the snug side. I would not be able to fit a helmet under or have a thick neck gaiter, but it doesn't look sloppy either. Hand warmer pockets are smallish, lined with the same material as the shell. Would have liked a small fold of fabric to protect my chin from a cold top of the zipper.The fabric is tightly woven and thus very effective at blocking the wind. It is not noisy like goretex, but not silent either. Water beads on surface but will leak at the seams first in heavy sustained rain. Sleeves have internal longitudinal battening to mitigate the insulation from migrating as far as I can tell. German labeled, sewing looks decent.The 1/4 zip vents some heat but it is too warm to use during any strenuous activity. Fortunately it dries fast. This works well as an insulating mid layer under a hard shell or poncho in wet weather. The fleece isn't that thick but it traps a lot of heat but not a lot of moisture in combination with the wind resistant fabric. Price was ok. mine shipped from the UK. I am willing to try more products from mil-tec. There is a summer version of this as well that is unlined and sells for half the price.

I like this product. Other reviews complained about the size being off. I am 6'2" and 300 lbs, yeah I'm fat. I ordered the 3XL and it fits good. It hangs low enough to cover my gut. The sleeves are long enough, probably 37/38 inches. It is well constructed. It is lightweight. This is not a winter gear product. More of a spring/fall pullover. In the summer it would be to hot, as it has a fleece lining. It would work in a mild winter setting, but you would want to wear some sort of fleece or sweatshirt under it. The side pockets aren't gigantic like some of my fleeces. They will hold a cell phone, wallet or some smokes quite nicely. Shipping will take a while as this product shipped from the UK. About three weeks give or take. I knew that going in to the transaction so it didn't bother me.Overall a great product that I am happy with.
