Milwaukee's protective covers are a little pricey, but well worth it to protect your tools. They're very well made, with thick heavy-duty rubber that fits perfectly over every nook and cranny of the tool. I'm a diesel mechanic, and I often set my impact guns down on semi tires, and these covers are absolutely vital to the rare occasions I occasionally knock the tool off a 3.5 ft tire onto a concrete floor. They protect the tools well and are actually easier to clean off than the plastic housing on the bare tool. Definitely recommend these. I have one on my M12 3/8 impact, M18 3/8 impact, and the M18 High-Torque 1/2' gun.
