Seems like it'll give some protection in the case of a slide but runs big and didn't put much thought in the design of the firearm pocket. I normally wear a two xxl but was entirely too big. Outside pockets were design properly but the inside firearm pockets weren't. There's almost no way to access your firearm without almost having to completely takeoff the vest. The pocket opening should've been put toward the zipper instead of deep inside the vest. If you like the look get the Xelement one on Amazon, it looks like the pocket openings will allow easier access to the pocket.

What an amazing vest, I feels amazing, looks bad a** on me. I am about 6'1 plus and about 310lb. The size first perfect for 3XL. Real leather! Just awesome and for the price you get an amazing quality

Very fast delivery from the U.S. and WOW! Hands down, absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous! Im 5'10" & 220lbs. A double XXL is just roomy enough for a hoodie or riding jacket under neath yet worn on its own doesn't look sloppy and the quality 5 star! A few of my buddies were equally impressed! Excellent!

The leather quality and workmanship is top self. The vest fits just right and is true to size. Once I got my patches sewn on and hit the road, I was very impressed with the cut, contour and overall comfort. It was well worth the purchase price. 5 stars for this one.
