recd in time for 3wk detecting in NE. being black they get hot in sun. can hear the higher softer pitches better with ear enclosed muff. made in china, its koss technology with chinese parts... so we see.. UPDATE.. headphones failed, started cutting out then stopped working after 2 weeks of 24/7 detecting. was good while they lasted but not worth the money spent...

Love these headphones! Have another pair that I have had a long time. Bought this pair to be sure to have another incase something happens to my pair. I use them with my metal detector! Thank you for such a great product!

Terrific. My husband uses them for metal detecting and they work so much better than the ones he was using. He is hard of hearing and these are well worth the money.

Koss sells this same headphone without the Minelab logo for half the price. Decent headphones for entry level detection. Main complaint is the cord is way too short, need to remove the headphones every time I dig, very inconvenient.
