Perfect size shovel for indoor gardening/plant care. I use it to repot my plants into larger homes. Tired of using a Solo cup lol.

These little shovels are perfect for kids to use at the beach or to use gardening. They're pretty sturdy and last way longer than the cheap plastic spades. I also really like the vibrant colors.

These shovels would be great in a sandbox, but when my son was helping me weed and I suggested he use this instead of a more rounded shovel, this ended up bending between where he was holding and the "bowl" part. This was the first time its had been used, and our soil is established, so it shouldn't, in my mind, have bent. Again, if its for a sandbox it would do great, but I suggest holding off of anything more strenuous.

Does your child like to dig like they're an archeologist, to the point that plastic shovels are too brittle for their discoveries? Then this is the shovel for you! The blue color is vibrant so you're not likely to accidentally run over it with the mower. The paint is mostly good, but inconsistent and there were several scratches on in it when I unwrapped it. This is a shovel meant for digging though, so scratches are inevitable. It's light weight since the handle is hollow, but since it's a sturdy metal, it seems like it will hold up pretty well. Especially for the low cost, This is a solid kids shovel or trowel.

Came in a bag from china, took a few to deliver so was probably back order. Shovel has same size blade as usual hand shovel, but the handle is a little smaller and not really the most comfortable. Blade isn’t dangerously sharp but it is a fully functional shovel. The end of the handle seems like it should have some purpose other than just making it a finger pinching hazard but I can’t figure it out. For the price you can buy a few and not worry about how long they last.

This is a nice sturdy trowel. I like that it’s all one piece and it has a nice paint glaze that I feel will withstand getting wet without rusting. I take good care of my gardening tools and wash and dry them after use so I see this lasting many years. I have one with a spongy grip on the handle and over time that still got nasty looking with dirt. This one being one solid metal piece is still comfortable to hold with or without gardening gloves but I always wear gloves when I’m using these types of tools. It’s written as being “mini” but it’s clearly a standard sized hand trowel being 11 inches in length. Suitable for adults for sure but would also be great for the littles. This is a solid buy.

I have large shovels, but am removing a built in sand box from my back yard and I want to add brick, so I can put my propane grill on it, so it’s away from the house. I want to sit and use a hand held shovel, to make remove a precise amount of first. I can’t find my hand held shovel anywhere, so when I saw this “mini” handheld shovel, I decided it will be perfect. The metal shovel it very well made. It is lightweight, but it solidly built. The seam on the handle is perfect. Since I use gloves when using this shovel, I haven’t had an issue that there is no handle grip. It works perfectly for my needs. It will also work great when repotting house plants.
