The box, lid trim, and name are printed in the same color selected for the box. Lids are slotted to accept almost all full-sized mail and cards, while the hinge provides full access to retrieve the contents. A pint-sized flag hangs at the side of every familygram mailbox. Raise it up to signal that a precious note awaits! The profile is intentionally slim – mount to a bedroom door or hallway without obstructing life. Simply stick it up with the included removable adhesive pads. Or, provisions for screwing to wall anchors are also incorporated into the design. Kids LOVE getting mail! Hang this box on your child's bedroom door and surprise them with a daily note of praise, encouragement...or your best dad jokes! This is the best gift for a kid that already has it all! We'd like to nudge parents to get one, too! Overall dimensions: Height - 7.25 in Width - 7 in Depth - 2 in Mail slot dimensions: 5.5 in long x .375 in wide *It's about 6 in from the mail slot to the inside bottom of the box. A #10 envelope (typical for 8.5 x 11 in paper folded in thirds) will fit, but will stand above the lid about 3". Not for children under 3 years old. If mounting outdoors, placement away from direct sun is important as the material is not well suited for hot summer days in the sun. The bottom is vented to drain rainwater. Direct mounting to a door, wall, or other surface is required. If not, the hinged lid may become damaged if forced to open beyond it's mechanical limit. As a 3D printed product, small blemishes, bumps, textures, and color variations are normal. That said, we will inspect every product to ensure only the best possible quality leaves our door!
