We have another, so I was a little skeptical of this drum not having any sound holes...but it sound very nice. I would say it doesn't resonate quite as well as our other, but does the job. Great tone, decent throw.

I have a 15 note steel tongue drum but wanted something I could carry with me. This delightful little drum has lovely notes and a pure tone. It is lovely to listen to, lovely to play and lovely to look at.

This thing is pretty cool. It has a nice ring to it even when you hit the body around the notes or in the center. I am impressed with the tones it can produce for how tiny it is. I find it a fun little drum to play using the mallet or my fingernails. The scale works well together too. I also have some very expensive tongue drums and a hand pan so I know how amazing these type of drums can sound. For the size and cost this is great and I'm happy to add it to my collection.

Somehow, I had a bigger picture of this in my head than what arrived. Upon checking the listing, I can say what I received is exactly what was listed. I got this to sit outside and be a rain drum. I did fiddle with the drumstick and test it out and it has a lovely sound. This is very nicely made. There's no rough or sharp edges, everything is sanded smooth, so it's very safe for little fingers. We're due to get some rain tomorrow, so I can't wait to see what happens with this. It's a great price and worth every penny. Sannofair thanks for having this for me to try - shortly after I started looking for rain drums! I'm a fan! I'll try and get some video once the rain starts! This would make an awesome gift for a gardener and it's small enough to fit in a holiday stocking.

If your plan is to leave this "rain drum" outdoors as a musical yard ornament, I suggest buying two or more. Once you see, play and hear this charming instrument, you will likely want to have it handy indoors. Not only is it too nice to expose to the elements, playing it is extremely fun and addictive.Shortly after mine arrived, I played it with YouTuber Kalimba Sound's 3-inch, 6-note mini tongue drum and ukulele cover of "The Scientist" by Coldplay. My newly-received instrument matched every note in the video so pitch-perfectly that it sounded like my performance was part of the recording!I bought two in the color GOLD: one for myself and one for a friend who needed a pick-me-up. She's already told me how much she loves it. My friend does yoga and meditation, as do I. The calming, sweet, resonant tones produced by this mini rain/tank/tongue drum are perfect for quieting the mind, centering and focus. This tiny tambour even features a beautiful, shiny "Om" symbol stamped tastefully on top.With so many positives, it's no wonder that this palm-sized portable is marked "Hluru" on its sound hole plug. Hluru is a company known for manufacturing fine-yet-affordable musical instruments. You will marvel at the weight, build and sturdiness of this small-but-mighty gem.Buy, buy, buy! This little drum is pure MAGIC. The sound is so joyful that I'd love to see 8 and 11 note mini models offered. If you prefer to play it placed on a tabletop, rather than holding it in your hand, I suggest putting a small, tufted square pillow or ring-shaped pillow under it. That will stabilize it and prevent it from wobbling without dampening the tone.This steel mini tongue drum comes boxed with one mallet (about 4.38 inches long) made of wood and rubber, a strip of numbered stickers (that is easy to miss, so look carefully inside the box) and a 10-page, fold-out instruction and song booklet. Delightful!

This arrived fast and was well packed with another item. Its well made and beautiful. The sound is lovely as well its a bit wobbly on any surface but not an issue when using.
