I don't know if I didn't use it right though I followed the directions. The stitches didn't hold and it was awkward to use also you will need to buy refills to keep using it. It will work for a temporary repair but I wouldn't trust it over normal sewing for long term use.

What a neat little device! I've always wondered if those pricing guns for clothing stores existed for an average consumer. Low and behold... Amazon truly does have everything, doesn't it?Of course, this is marketed as a stitching gun, and it totally works that way. It can hold 2 pieces of fabric together easily and temporarily. And when you're ready to pull them apart again, you simply snip the little plastic connector and you're finished without needing a seam ripper. I do wish that it came with black and clear connectors instead of black and white and it doesn't come with as many accessories as its competitors do, for the same price. The extra needles are a nice touch and they seem to go through thicker fabrics like denim well. This will be great for temporarily hemming jeans, which is a constant thing for me, since I'm 5'1 and even pants that are cut "short" are often at least a little too long for me.I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this gun, and hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on replacement stitches easily.
