I’ve tried 3-4 different bead brands and only 2 have worked, these being the best. I use beads for my small business so I know the ins and outs with beads and how they’re supposed to perform. They’re easy to get used to faster compared to other brands, meaning you get the hang of their melting point/time needed to heat. All brands have had different quality beads. My go to for sure.

Would loved to have used these since Perler Mini lacks a dark gray, but these beads are slightly taller and thicker than Perler beads, causing them to fuse unevenly when used together. Listing them as "compatible" is simply not true; it would be more accurate to describe them as "compatible with Perler accessories" since they'll fit the pegboard, but they certainly won't work alongside each other.

Great for skin tones and I did not have these colors after many other purchases yet.

I was always a bit sad Perler doesn’t have the glow in the dark beads in the mini size…Thank you for scratching that itch!

Ordered these by mistake thinking they were the standard size beads, then when they came in and were smaller, I new I messed up. But that's okay because these work the same way, and make cool, smaller bead pictures, or make lwrger ones with more detail!

My children really enjoy fusion beads. We recently discovered mini beads, and their interest level went up even more. The teensy, tiny mini beads allow them to create designs with even greater detail in diminutive sizes. These are great for jewelry, keychains, magnets and smaller accessories. These mini fusion beads are priced affordably and are offered in packs of colors we tend to use up quickly. They come in resealable pouches, which makes them easy to clean up and to store.Due to their small size, I would recommend these for older children and adults. They are great for increasing dexterity in teens and adults who already have fairly well-developed fine motor skills. However, they work best with precision tweezers and require mini plates, so they're not compatible with the regular fusion beads

These are the MINI beads and fit on the mini grids. They are made of a softer plastic and are easy to handle and grip with tweezers. Which you will need to use these! The gradient colors are great for making shadows or subtle differences in design but oh my gosh don't lose track. Using the mini fuse beads is a challenge any time -- don't sneeze or hiccup when you're trying to put them in the grid! -- but these are tricky because they are so close to the same color. If you don't have nerves of steel, patience of a saint, the steady hand of a brain surgeon, and the vision of a mantis shrimp, these might not be for you. But what is a hobby without challenge and fear? You can do it! I believe in you! But also you will probably need a lighted magnifier and a place without toddler or pet access.

I should've looked closer and realized these are 2.5 mm beads, and not the "standard" 5mm beads that I'm used to. That said, they are quality beads, and after mulling over it, I think some of my students and crafting guests will appreciate trying the smaller beads. After all, it will allow for more articulate designs. As far as the beads go, they are fine. There are no abnormalities with the plastic, and packaging is fine. Thanks for reading my review.
