I bought this set for my boys, ages 8 and 11. Things made with plastic are always a hit and miss when it comes to children's products. My kids are soooo hard on everything I wasn't sure if this would be decent quality BUT it is. Although it's made of plastic it's very heavy duty. The basket are very durable and weighted. They don't feel cheap at all.It's a great size for young children learning to play. I took a picture of the set next to my 34oz water bottle. I was hoping the handle would be soild but they are actually hallow. I think this ended up being a good thing because if it was soild although small it would get heavy swinging around. It comes with 2 balls, one is a soild rubber ball ans the other is filled with gel. Both balls are semi hard and kinda heavy and although they probably can't get that hurt getting hit by them they can for sure break things with these.I originally thought that they would be able to use these in the pool but since there is a metal screw in the back and the handles are hallow they would probably fill up with water.I love finding products that keep my boys outside and active. I think this set is a good value and I would recommend it.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. For a 20 dollar outdoor toy, my expectations are low, but the size and quality on this are really good. The size will work for kids ranging from my 5 year old up to me as an adult. It's plastic, yes, but not a cheap plastic, and a more heavy duty piece. I can see these lasting the whole summer, which is rare with our toys, if not even longer. I appreciate the instructions telling you how you can redo the net based on your skill level and preference (I will probably keep it at the default).I got this for the pool and beach, as my kids are used to the same standard toys every year, and this is completely different than what we have and will be really fun! I might have to get another set because I can see the kids fighting over it. This will be fun in a pool or in water, or even just playing in our yard. I love it.My only negative is while assembly is very simple in concept, actually getting the stick into the net takes some serious effort, it does not fit easily. I thought I was doing it wrong but nope, it's just difficult. Hopefully that means it's also very secure.

Great fun for tossing around, quick for kiddos to learn how to play with. Simple to put together, the nets are strong material, two different ball types, and a soft handle. Fun for adults too!
