This is one of the best CarPlay adapters that I have used and much better than the one it replaced. I had a few issues with a previous adapter, but this one has worked flawlessly for me. It also works with Android. I love the small size of this adapter and that it plugs right into the USB port which works a lot better for my use rather than the dongle adapters that come with a cable. Plugged in it has a modern look and stays out of the way, almost unnoticeable.Setting up is super easy and it really is plug and play. It worked seamlessly right from the start and easily connected to my phone and the vehicle's CarPlay through the port. I have had no issues with reconnections during daily use. It connects fast and I'm ready to play music from my phone before I get out of my driveway. The sound quality is very good as well, no issues there. There are certainly cheaper adapters available but for the price and quality this one is a good overall value at about 30 bucks. I am satisfied with this adapter and recommend it.

Now, I've only owned it a few hours, so I might be back with an update, but for the 4.5 years I have owned my car, the USB port is picky about which cords it accepts and might decide suddenly, after months of working, to get jiggly and no longer connect. With no real help from the dealership, I went with this beauty. It paired right away and paired automatically as soon as I got back in the car after 3 errands. Yay! No more wonky cords trailing around my gearshift!

Worked great first time for couple times and easier to connect first time. Later it don’t connect automatically and will have to connect manually over Bluetooth. Some times it says connection unsuccessful. Needed to forget the connection and had to connect again as new connection. Also if 2 drivers are driving the vehicle, this doesn’t connect automatically. It only connect to previous connected phone automatically. If other driver is taking the car out, they will have connect to car play which defeats the purpose of wireless connection. It may work good for the cars driven by single driver.

I wasn't expecting this to work so well I was having drop outs when connected with cable for android auto .but this just works with no drop outs at all..easy set up.. instantly connects when I get in the car.very impressed.just a note I did panic while setting this up as my head unit went to car play set up but after 20 seconds or so it then switched to android auto settings .so when setting up give it time to sort out if your using apple or android device

I've had a few of these wireless Android Auto adapters, including some of the original ones (AA Wireless and Motorola). The Motorola one worked ok but often would not connect, which would lead to a lengthy troubleshooting process and a ton of frustration. The AA Wireless one was better but was a little square box with a separate USB cable. That's not really something I was sitting out on my dashboard.I really like the small form-factor of this device. Setup was a little sketchy and it didn't want to connect at first, but eventually it got connected. I've gone on a few drives so far and it's connected as expected each time since. If it becomes unreliable with use, I'll update this review, but so far is is looking pretty good.Note: I only use Android Auto, not Apple Carplay.

For the most part, this will do exactly what it is intended to do. It will give you wireless connectivity for Android Auto on vehicles that only provide wired Android Auto connectivity.I got this because of its smaller size. I was using a wireless Android Auto dongle that was bigger, and had a short cord attached to it and seemed to just "hang there." This one is smaller and easily sits in the USB port without taking up too much space. This dongle takes about 15-20 seconds to connect. A few times, it took longer to connect, or I had to unplug it from the USB port and plug it in again to get it to connect. That didn't happen often, but it did happen. I just couldn't find a pattern to its actions. It works just fine for the most part. There are times when I have to step away from my car (to open an access gate in front of me, for example) while it's running and walk out of wireless range from it temporarily. At that point, the wireless Android Auto gets disconnected. When that happens, the screen on my car shows a generic test display, which I believe is generated by the dongle, and never reconnects when I step back into the car. I have to pull the dongle from the USB port and plug it back in to get it to reconnect. If you don't regularly step out of your car while it's running, then this probably won't be a problem for you, and it should work fine. It's as if it only works flawlessly when you first get in your car, start up your car, drive to your destination, then turn off the car and get out. That action basically powers off the dongle after each use, which makes it ready to go for the next time you drive. But if you walk too far out of its range while it is running, it generally fails to reconnect automatically.

Works well and is reliable. Very easy and simple to set up.I have a Honda Civic Hatch 2019. Only difference is there will be a one second delay when u change songs and you can't really watch tiktoks unless you disconnect it cause of the delay.
