This little globe has a perfect crystal globe but the stand is a little lightweight and cheap feeling.

I probably could of found a better item at the dollar store. Not worth the price or the item. Same plastice used for toy cars and the globe is the since of a large toy marble. Feels like something that comes out of the toy vending machine that you put 50 cents at Walmart next to the gum balls.

I like how these are small enough to be easy to ship, but look like good quality items. They have weight to them, since the globes are solid, so they feel substantial.

The screws holding the globe in place are small

You have to tighten 3 screws when you unpackage the item. No tool is provided, so you'll need a standard size philips head screwdriver. The globe is not attached by default, so you'll have to loosen the top 2 screws to insert the globe. It has indentations where the screws are supposed to hold the globe in place. It's not a difficult assembly, but the screws are awful to work with, and even once tightened, the stand feels absurdly cheap for the asking price. The globe on its own is quite nice. It has a foggy marble crystal look, and it refracts light in fun ways. This is great as a desk ornament, and I'm gifting it to my wife for her world history class. If the stand breaks, I guess I'll 3d print a new one.
