This handle cracked almost the full length of the handle. Could have been a bad accident had it broken off fully. Maybe wood is too shelf old-dry. VERY dangerous.

Rehandled a double bit axe. Good straight handle. Very little wood work to make it fit. Would like to see a non finished handle. That would allow you to finish it with boiled linseed.

Worked great, I filed the handle enough for a solid fit. Split some oak and it held up fine.
