Installed a retro slate floor in my kitchen & entryways. This stuff works extremely well. So much in fact that I’ll probably use it to seal all of my natural gray granite that’s all over my home. I would suggest a mask while applying, and don’t do it in the winter when the house is sealed up. It permeates into everything.

I applied this to all of the tile in my house including two bathrooms and a Kitchen. I was told that this product would enhance the look. I believed them and I did really like the look. It made my tile pop. Then... I noticed some flaking by my back door. I called miracle sealants and was told that that would happen if applied to a porcelain tile. It will continue to flake all of the tile I painted. It looks like my next focus Will be stripping this product off my floor. 😣.

Get the good stuff! I think the product that is available in stores in California is different than the original formulation of Mira Matte, possible because of Prop 65 or other "regulations".Get the original!--a great product for restoring luster and "wet look" to natural stone products, without that shiny waxed look.

Worked great. Made our flagstone darker and richer in color without that shiny look.

Have used the Mira-Matte enhancer from Miracle Sealants for several years on an outdoor stone patio. It works GREAT to bring out the natural colors and lasts for approx 2 years before needing it again. The product does have an odor, and would not recommend using indoors except with forced ventilation. Overall, am very happy with the product and results for outdoor applications

I sealed rainbow sandstone for a bathroom with miracle porous plus. Since this tile is very pourous, I sealed it outside prior to installation with three coats of pourous plus. The product is awesome, even while cutting the stone, the water and mud would just roll off of the stone with very little water penetration. All went as intended using CBP granite & marble thinset. After all done I sealed the installed floor with mira matte. The product is great, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. My only problem was with the volatile carrier in this stuff. Seems as though it is some type of alcohol similar to ethylene glycol. Thank God I had a mask to protect me from the voc because this stuff eventually penetrated the whole house and almost fumigated us out of the house even with all the windows open. I would highly suggest that you use this product outside and preseal your tile prior to installation. Other than that it produced a great look with excellent protection. I will definitely use it again, but outside next time

This is the worst smelling stuff. The fumes burn my eyes and the smell is everywhere despite open windows and fan. Label says potentially toxic--sorry I didn't read that before I used it.For outdoor use it may be ok but I'd worry about the chemicals running off into the ground. I very much regret using this product. Now have to take the rest of it to some center for disposal of toxic chemicals--I couldn't in good conscience put it in regular garbage. It does seem to darken stone, but I'll look for a less toxic solution for the balance of my kitchen counters.
