Adapters can be a bit tough to screw on at times, but it works well when you are on. I also use this kit for my pulse sensor, diagnosing head gasket failures. The quick connect fitting works well for the pump/gauge and my sensor.Good quality case, the adapters could use a tighter fit when it's shut though. I don't like hearing things bang around inside a closed case.

As another reviewer said the only flaw of this unit is when you relieve pressure the fluid goes everywhere you need a rag to catch it from going absolutely everywhere. However, the unit works very very well and the quality is top notch. Its a professional lifetime tool if taken care of. Found the mystery leak on my 1988 Camaro (In addition to the use of a borescope) because the leak was intermittent at the back of the intake manifold leaking down. Put on your wishlist and buy on sale $155.

Awesome tool. This is a great time saver. I was able to pressure test my daughter's car after I replaced her water pump. It was nice being able to work on a cold engine.

This kit works well. One thing to keep in mind though is when u push the release valve to de-pressurize the system, u MUST wrap a towel around the base fitting or u WILL get a spray of coolant ALL over you!!! (Ask me how I know this). This does not come with a hose to release excess coolant back into a reservoir or bucket. Aside from that, I recommend it. Not something I use very often, but when I NEED it, I have it on hand to use and it pays for itself after 1 use. Going to the shop to get your cooling system tested for leaks is 1 hour labor. Do the math.. I work on my car ALOT and this is a handy tool to have when u just can't find a coolant leak.
