I thought I would have to do some modifications for it to mount up properly. However, it bolted right up and works as it should! At least 100 dollars less than the name brand units and functions just as good! Good buy!

The unit is as shown, two major pieces, step and bracket. Step is all assembled one unit piece.Step bolts on with three bolts, two from the top, and one from the side, and will only fit on one way. I put bracket in first, which requires the removal of 2 nuts and 2 bolts from bumper. Fit was nice and easy, as bracket is pretty much self holding on the major studs, allowing the two bolts to be placed, nuts to be reinstalled, then all tightened. As the whole unit isn’t really all that heavy, may have been better to pre assemble it, as it’s easy enough to move the step down by hand. I noted the top bolts that fit stair to bracket I believe are steel reinforced, but side hole is just into aluminum, so don’t over torque it.They do give you 2 additional bolts, nuts, and washers. I believe that they maybe are meant to replace the bolts and stamped steel nut clips, but they would have been a major pain to remove those clips, or if you did, fitting a wrench on the inside of bumper would have sucked also. They are same thread as stock bolts.I have installed a more reviewed model on previous truck, but the insoles look of this is much tighter to the bumper when retracted. I’m pretty hefty, and gave it a couple of stiff bounces to test, and I am happy with how sturdy it feels. Would be a better rating with even the barest of instructions, even a half page of 2 picts.
