This part worked on a 2013 Kia Optima SXL 2.0L TurboPart came within 8 hours of purchase and allowed me to get to work the next day.Comments on this product were quite concerning, but took the gamble on a cheaper than OEM replacement saving myself upwards of $500 for professional repair. I checked my car's specs on specific voltage requirements and disabled the old motor and arm carefully. This product comes with a rubber cap on the motor end over the ball bearing joint, I took this off because fitment with the rubber nub made it hard to ensure a correct installation and pressure of the bolt to the motor, once the new product and ensuring that it was assembled the same as OEM, I attached a needle to the yellow wire coming out from the wastegate valve, connected my multimeter and adjusted the rod by spinning the end connecting to the turbo until the voltage ran a little shy of 4.0v. My car spec is around 4.2, after tightening the bolt to lock in the voltage, and reconnecting the rod to the turbo, I ACC cycled the car a couple of times and the voltage adjusted to 4.15, after a start of the vehicle and running it for almost a week now I have had no issues and fixed the problem that I was having. (My car voltage before the installation of the new product was reading 4.79, my rod was completely rust welded to the bolt, and the motor was fine, just figured replacing was the easier option.) Hope this helps!

Install was relatively easy. I cleared the codes and the power is back.

I looked up videos on how to install new part and i found if i just leave the original arm that has the manufacturer adjustments on the screw, all you would really have to do is replace the motor.

The wastegate was delivered broken, so I wasted my time and money installing it

There are no instructions on how to Calibrate it. I replaced it and still have the same issue. This part does not work on Sonata’s. Cost me parts price plus labor. I would not recommend at all.
