The BMW plastic valve covers are very well known for warping and cracking over time due to heating and cooling. This valve cover is a great product for the price on top of a great upgrade from the stock plastic ones. The only minor detail I had with this cover is that the inside is a bit rough. So using an aggressive scouring pad I cleaned it up and polished it and bit. After cleaning it out, it was much better. This is probably not needed but I prefer it.

Mounted up like it should , seemed to seal just fine... see how it holds up .It does look nice in my opinion.

This cover was a perfect fit , went in with no problem , comes with new bolts and metal washers and rubber plugs . did not come with new ground wire bolts , so had to reuse old ones

I had in the past gone through 4 valve, cover gaskets . Oil fail, and leak.. this metal valve cover has been the best. I was surprised how well it fit for the price and how complete the kit was.

Despite a pre-inspection and meticulously torquing to 89 inch/pounds this metal valve cover failed after a test drive. Misfires on cylinders 1,2, and 3 were a strong indication all wasn’t right in Gotham City. Reference the attached photos. No other words required.Fortunately, I was able to install a new gasket set on the original plastic valve cover and put my vehicle back in service. Lesson learned: Don’t get rid of your original cover before your return date expires.I’ve asked Amazon for a replacement, but don’t know if I will reinstall. If the original cover and new gasket perform well during the 30 day return period I will send the replacement back for a full refund.Update: Replacement arrived in worse condition than the initial shipment. Non-existent Q.C. Spark plug holes and CCV port not completely drilled out. Grinding tool marks abound. The finish looks as if a kid took a spray can, with a bad nozzle, and a paint brush to it. There is an imperfection in the same spot as the originally shipped valve cover; a crack in the wings.Returned for a full refund. Find another manufacturer, this one isn’t worth the effort. Amazon has added insult to injury by adding a 30 day policy on return of my money. I am not a happy camper!

Cumple con lo que anuncia, cuenta con tornillos y juntas para reemplazar, muy recomendable mi auto ya no tiene fugas de aceite, mi vehiculo es 2003 y menciona los años para los que es compatible pero lo mejor es revidar la tapa y ver las 2 que hay disponibles por este vendedor.

Everything is assembled in the box. Was an easy install, took about an hour 30 to swap everything over. The provided gaskets look alright i recommend using OEM gaskets for peace of mind. All of the bolts threaded in nicely and hold tight, there were slight paint scratches on the top of the valve cover. Will come back in 5 months and give another review if the gaskets hold up and don’t leak.UPDATE : It’s now may 21st and i installed the valve cover on december 15th. So far i have had no problems with the provided gasket. The oil cap is not leaking either. Valve Cover Paint looks brand new. From this point on if i have any problems i will change my review but for now i give it 5 Stars.

A great upgrade from the original or replacement plastic valve covers. I've replaced the valve cover already with a plastic one but they don't last very long; tend to warp and/ or not have sufficient sealing clamping force which results in oil leaking into one of the spark plug tubes even though I used a quality gasket. I reused my o.e. oil filler cap as the one that came with the valve cover fell apart on a you tuber's video; not a big deal as my o.e oil filler cap was in great shape!

Came with everything you need to complete a valve cover job. But the packaging for all the bolts, rubber garments and washers. Was broke open which had them all over the box. Plus there was a hole in the box. In which luckily none of them escaped through. Awesome product just sucks i was given a heart attack when i saw they were everywhere and there was a hole in the box.
