These pillow inserts come vacuum packed. Theydo not fluff even when the directions on the ”how to fluff” the pillow are followed. The pillows stay lumpy and lack volume. I long for the good old days when a pillow insert came ready-to-use instead of a vacuum packed, rolled up sausage-like pillow insert that had to be pummeled to get it to look even remotely like a pillow insert.

These arrive compacted with air removed. I threw them in the dryer (as suggested on instructions that came with them) with a couple towels and they fluffed right up and have held their shape wonderfully.

I bought the 20 x 20 inserts for my 18 x18 pillow covers. They filled the pillow covers perfectly. The pillows are good quality. Follow the directions to fluff them up by putting them in the dryer and beating on them a little bit. These are very nice!

I did a lot of looking before I settled on these pillow inserts. I wanted them for my new chairs on the front porch. They're the perfect size. They are well stuffed and far from being flat. You will need to fluff them up after receiving them as they are vacuum sealed. It doesn't take but a few seconds for the pillow to start plumping up. The filling is little squares of foam, along with some loose fine long fibers. It's really a very well made pillow and the material is very soft and smooth. When you unzip the pillow, there's a flap of long material you unfold that holds the filling in, which makes it easy to zip back up. It also means you can adjust the firmness/softness of the pillow by removing filling or adding to it. As far as water resistance, I have not had them long enough to know. I did purchase a pillow cover that was water proof so I don't see there being any issues there. They look very plump and full in the new pillow covers. These are the first pillows I've had that I didn't have to put them in the dryer to fluff them. I find them very comfortable and good support for my back without being overly firm or soft. Very happy with purchase and would definitely buy again.

Nice full pillows. Supple. Complete with a zipper. Contents are numerous small stuffing pieces not one solid pillow. I’m sure this helps in creating a water resistant pillow and allowing it to dry well without creating internal mold and mildew. I haven’t owned these long enough to say how water resistant they are but they seem to be a good quality.Update: Have used now for a couple months and through several summer rainstorms. They are holding up well and maintaining their water resistance quality as expected for a water resistant pillow. I am pleased with this purchase.
