I love my Miyoo Mini. The form factor on this thing is rad - it just looks so cool. Compact with a big bright screen, somewhat reminiscent of the original GameBoy design, but with far superior technology. It's very easy to customize this (using OnionOS) to play all of your favorite games from yesteryear. I have a big trip coming up and can't wait to use it on the long flight.

I love this game. My husband purchased it for me for Xmas. I was so surprised at all the games it has that I used to absolutely love to play! It appears to be built well, feels very much like a pricey handheld game. Graphics are exactly what I would expect from the original games. There is a huge selection of games and it is incredibly easy to use!

It is beyond cool to have a PS1 in my pocket at all times as well as the plethora of other retro platforms. They all scale down very nicely on the sharp screen and look great! Games are easy enough to add as long as you know how basic file directories work and how to connect an SD card to your PC. I love this little thing but I'll probably upgrade to something higher quality and gift this one to someone else.Beyond that the downsides make this device more of a novelty than a gaming platform. Here are my cons:-Main Issue" D-pad is TERRIBLE. Its not tactile/quite mushy and if you need to do any diagonal movement in a game (ie all of them) you're going to be in for a bad time. The dpad struggles quite a lot on dual inputs and makes even RPG movement very tedious. Especially in games like Super Mario RPG or Breath of Fire 3 where its an isometric view and all your movements are diagonal-Only speaker is located directly where your thumb naturally rests while using the right face buttons. You will cover it CONSTANTLY and due to its small size this will completely muffle 90% of your game's sound-OS is very unfinished. Its nice but has a like of glaring visual bugs with different themes where UI elements and letters will overlap etc. Also the PS1 memory card files for slots 1 and 2 come "pre-loaded" ie 100% full of saves for games that arent even pre-loaded thus making them useless. This forces you to navigate to the native menu and go 3 menus deep to select slots 3-10 to find an empty "card". Every. Time. You. Restart. The. Game. What even...? It feels like a dev played on his while testing it and then shipped it with all his save data.-Auto-hibernate feature closes the game you're playing, I hope you saved!-Remapping OS controls does not change button prompt guides on screen

I just received the product and then the screen has a small crack at the bottom left. Disappointed to say the least

The Miyoo Mini Plus is an absolutely amazing retro gaming console! The build quality is fantastic, with premium materials that feel solid and durable in your hands. The 3.5-inch IPS screen is bright and vibrant, making the gaming experience even better. What I love most is how compact and portable it is—it actually fits in your pocket, making it perfect for gaming on the go. My wife was so impressed when she saw mine that she immediately wanted one for herself! Highly recommended for any retro gaming fan.

This unit is extremely high quality. All the buttons feel great and responsive. The screen is bright and high resolution. Battery life has been nice and long. The included software is intuitive and responsive. There are plenty of settings to adjust how you want. And you can even install your own software if desired. The possibilities are endless. There are so many games already available out of the box from your favorite retro consoles and more. Overall, this handheld game system operates really smoothly and I definitely recommend. This is extremely good value for the money.

Its 1999, I'm 11 and I just woke up on christmas morning...Or at least thats how this thing makes me feel. So much nostalgia packed into one little machine. I love the small size so I can fit it in my pocket and play some games on my bus commute too. If you're a fan of retro games, this thing is a big win. It came with a screen protector and a cute little case too. Big fan.

Owned for about 3 months now. I have installed Onion OS, makes the device much better. One important point to make; you’ll need a quality micro SD card for storage at the minimum. The Onion OS is nice to have but not necessary fyi. That aside, the build quality is very nice, doesn’t feel like junk plastic. The buttons are very nice and smooth. Tactile but not in the way a cheap switch would feel. The cpu handles up to ps1 games very well, have yet to run into issues or bugs. Performance is perfect for the systems emulated. No issues with bugs or glitches, everything has been working perfectly, so far. Can’t comment on durability as I baby the device as much as possible, but it has held up being carried every day in its case in and out of work no problem. There are upgrades one can do such as upgrading the speaker and buttons (see Etsy) but I have not felt the need.It may just be a personal thing, but I feel like the cheap speaker in the device works well with the retro theme it’s going for.Battery life is excellent, I’ve been able to game on it, on a slow day at work, for a good 6-8 hours, depending on screen brightness and sound levels. The display is beautiful by the way. crisp colors and refresh rate is perfect, again, for the use.Great price for what you pay, especially once you’ve done a custom OS and the Tiny Best Set Rom pack to go with the new SD card.Fwiw, Onion OS also has retro achievements, multiplayer, and custom themes to name a few things.Worth buying as is, worth the time to upgrade.
