I received this scope riser and immediately fell in love with it. The build quality is really good, and it fits this scope perfectly thanks for a great product, and I will definitely be purchasing at least two more soon.

I recently purchased a Primary Arms 30mm scope for my S&W 15-22. I needed a mount and this one worked perfectly. I have it mounted as far to the rear as possible on the upper pictanny rail. I have it tightened just enough to use the quick release. The quick release allows you to remove a scope if you want to switch to iron sights. I sighted in my scope from 50 yards and the mount held up well. I am happy with this purchase.

The single aluminum design is great as it provides rigidity for mounting your scope. It's easy to secure and install. Works as advertised.

For the price and the sturdiness of the product, it's hard to nitpick, but I will. From the picture I thought that the sight would mount high enough to witness my backup iron sights through the open supporting structure. Not only was that not the case, but my (admittedly really nice and a bit large, but specifically designed for ar15 nikon) scope rubs up against the sights because it's too low, which I think unfortunately makes it scrap metal for my ar. The space between the two scope rights is also small, so it's hard to look at your knobs if you need to adjust windage or whatever, granted in this gun I don't see being super accurate as the main goal. It's also a fairly heavy piece of equipment, and the quick-release knobs somehow feel less sturdy than the rest of the product. It's also designed so the screws go through the dead center of the rails, so your scope is going to be moving a bit forward and backward. I think most of my issues with the scope could be mitigated with a really long top rail on your gun but then your scope is going to be far forward and harder to use comfortably. I may remove my rear backup sight, but isn't it kind of the point of a quick release system to be able to change the uses of your gun quickly? All in all, it's cheap enough for me to keep around maybe stick on another rifle? I'd say think about what you're trying to do with your gun and where it's gonna fit before purchasing this. If it doesn't hold on to the rail after firing the gun, it's over though, I'll return it and update this review.

Using spacers to adapt for a 1 inch tube instead of 30mm is just a bit awkwardI am mounting a Vortex Crossfire scope on a Ruger 556 and clearance between the focus adjustment ring and stock iron sight is not good if the scope is forward a bit. They clear by about the thickness of paperHowever, this problem is only a problem if you need more eye relief than normal so may or may not be an issue. It depends on your eyes , as well as your scope. I my case, using the scope I chose, I moved the scope to,the rear just a bit and actually hit the "sweet spot" dead perfectly for me and gave me the extra room my big stiff fingers needThe focus ring on the Vortex is a bit larger than usual and your scope may not have an issue.A low riser will solve It as well. There are also small rails on top of each ring. Each ring is attached with a total of 6 screws (3 per side) which I like since anything worth doing is worth overdoing.Should have no issues mounting a laser.Again, depending on the scope and accessories there may be clearance issues with the scopes elevation turret. The final thing I noticed could be a problem,if you are not paying attention. The Allen wrench did to fit the bolt socket as deeply as it should (read quick release adjustment) .I strongly suggest releasing the quick release mechanism before adjusting which is probably smart anyway. All in all, I am satisfied

Hi got this mount for a few reasons, #1 was the quick release feature, 2nd was the height and 3rd was the picatinny rail option on the top of the rings. The fact that this mount was incredibly inexpensive is just a added plus. The mount itself is solid, when you hold it in your hand you can tell that it's metal not a cheap plastic. The mount is designed to fit 30mm scopes and that's what I was looking for but I wouldn't be surprised if it fit other sized scopes as well. I really like the quick release feature of this mount, it has two levers for added security and if you want to increase the tension you can tighten the allen nuts on the opposite side of the levers. The design of the mount is exactly what I was looking for, I wanted something I could have high enough to still have my iron sights on and this will do the job. I'm not saying you can flip up the rear sight, it's not that tall but it doesnt need to be you can quickly take the scope off to flip up the sights or you can get the offset iron sights. The rings on this mount come with picatinny rails on top in case you wanted to add a red dot sight to the top of the scope, i plan to take advantage of this soon. The top rings are connected via 3 allen screws on each side of the each ring so there are a total of 12 allen screws. It comes with the wrench so no extra tools needed. All in all this mount is a fabulous buy, it's quality is great and it seems to be incredibly sturdy. I haven't taken it to the range yet but plan to soon enough and I will update my review to let yall know if the mount stays secure after firing.
