How do I finish?
Tips
1. You can paint the large color block first, and then the small color block.
2. If the light-colored paint cannot cover the numbers, you can apply a thicker paint when spraying, or wait for the paint to dry and repeat several times.
3. It is recommended to start with light colors. It doesn't matter if there is any mistake in the painting. You can wait for the paint to dry and cover with the correct paint.
4. Regarding painting, always clean the brush before coloring, the effect will be better.
5. The paint cover should be tightly closed when not painting, otherwise the paint will dry up easily.

3 things about paint by number: are the numbers easy to read for you? is their enough paint for the picture to be finished? Is everything included for you to finish the painting? Those are the basics and honestly imo all you need. Normally I save thin cardboard for this purpose, which makes (with duct tape) easy to stretch the canvas and use as a convenient board to paint on. (pictures included) I usually do 3-4 at a time giving each one a day to dry though that is personal preference only.I have bought new brushes just in case but so far really have not needed to use them. The brushes are good to use and the paints have been enough to use. I do not care if it comes rolled or folded (the canvas) as honestly it doesn't matter. With my cardboard its stretched just fine. Especially for the price, most the paint by numbers I chose have been amazing. Only one had such small numbers I had to drawer it. (and that is only for my poor vision lol). Most include a paper copy in case you paint over a number you can go back later and fix it. I would recommend this paint by number as checking all the boxes for me. Note: It is common on some paint by numbers you may have to repaint twice or glob a little more on then normal. To me again for the price, that is fine with me. I do this for relaxing and bringing something beautiful to life. If you want pro painting then I suggest a class and Windsor Newton paint with $40 brushes. If you just want to relax and have fun, paint by number is for you. I am including pictures of my set up. I have cups I label with masking tape that include the paper copy, small photo and all paints. when i switch paintings I just crab that cup and go.

I got this paint by number Highland cow campus. Because for some reason right now, I’m in love with Highland cows. I am actually painted two other Highland cow paintings once smaller one and one bigger one. This one has the numbers printed on it where you can see them easily there is small areas in big areas so some areas I need my glasses in, but this is a very cute painting. It’s gonna take a little while to finish it so I will update later if I have any problems, everything is included that you need to paint it, including smaller and bigger brushes and all the paint.

My daughter loves to doodle and draw and says it relaxes her. I got this kit for her birthday, and she is so excited to paint it. It has easy instructions and the colors are beautiful. the brushes included are quality, and a good addition.

This was not on a stretched canvas but it was on a folded piece of canvas. The numbers were so small that I could barely see them. It was hard to paint such tiny spots. It’s a cute design and a fun idea for kids or adults. I wish it was bigger and easier to use.

I have many gnome items, especially paintings that I like to do, so this was really a treat for me to paint. This is a large canvas well printed with the chart of the numbered sections. The paint in the little pots is good thick paint that glides on the canvas really well. You get a few brushes with different brush sizes to use for small and large areas. Easy to follow instructions and quick drying paint make this a fast craft done in a few days.
