My original iPhone rear camera would flicker. Bought this to replace it. The repair was easy, as I’ve had to open my phone twice already(once to repair the screen, and again to replace the battery), so the actual repair only took me about 10 minutes. The tools that come with the camera are a joke, luckily I had better tools from my other repairs. Magnetic screwdrivers are a blessing! This camera doesn’t seem to want to focus, regardless of the items distance. Better than flickering I suppose, but I expected better pictures.

I got this because my camera stopped working after the phone got wet. I also had to replace the screen and thats when I found out the camera stopped working. I ordered this camera and removed and installed it and now the phone is operating normal. no more issues.

The compensator on my iPhone XR had a nervous breakdown and it would shake vigorously so the camera could not focus. The whole camera needed to be replaced and for $55 this seemed like the way out.Do not expect apple quality photos. It is grainy and not super sharp. Think iPhone 2… however, it does work and does just fine for social media upload. That’s the main use everyone gives to their phone anyways.I’m happy I no longer look like an idiot taking pictures or videos with the selfie cam and the phone backwards while I stretch my knock to try to see the screen and aim at something specific.Also, the tools that came with it are glorified toothpicks. I made it through 2 of the Y a screws and they were done. Buy a proper set. $15 goes a long way and you won’t strip your screws and will actually be able to complete the installation. I also recommend getting the gasket kit so you can at least “hope” the phone is still waterproof.$75 or so in camera, tools and gasket. Installation videos are on YouTube.If you are concerned about high quality photos, bite the bullet and go to Apple.

I can't tell the difference between the Apple brand camera (when it worked) and this one. Overall good product 4 weeks into use.

I had to return the first camera. Super disappointed! Got the 2nd one on the 2nd and it worked like a charm. Not a bad replacement but have patience because, there’s a possibility it won’t work.

Used to replace my OE camera in an iPhone XR, probably the easiest component to replace, install took on a few minutes and my camera no longer takes blurry photos/video
