Everything works and the backlight features is really neat but there are a few things that will take some getting used to if you’ve been using the stock keyboard. For one, it’s a little thicker and the keys sit a bit higher than the original. It’s also louder when you are typing as the keys just aren’t as quiet as the original and lastly, you’ll have to charge this thing on your own as it does not charge via your tablet (which supposedly saves tablet juice).As for the pros: The color is great, the charging port on the side is very nice and it synced right up with my Microsoft Surface Pro 9. Although we like the look of the backlight, we could not find a way to turn it off or at least not in the same way you can the original keyboard.All in all, there are some good things and some things that could be better but we believe this is a four-star product, especially for just over 50 bucks which is a lot less than the Microsoft brand keyboard.
