I’ll start by saying that the rack itself is not horrible, however, the kayak mounts are absolute garbage. No matter how tight you screw the clamps on the kayak mounts will spin on the bar and are not secure. The rack also mounts the kayaks absurdly high above the cab of the truck making them impossible to load unload without good help. I would not trust the setup at highway speeds at all without some modifications like drilling holes through the mounts and adding several bolts, and with how high they are above the cab (sierra 1500) and other durability reviews, I couldn’t make it work. With a trip looming the next day, I pivoted and turned the kayak mounts upside down on the rack and used some tank ratchet straps to “suspend” the kayaks to the rack. This actually seems to work pretty well if you are open to having the tailgate down, or have a multi pro tailgate like I do. This upside down configuration allows a lot of space in the bed to still be usable for gear and the kayaks are rock solid. Also won’t have to worry about height at all. If you are in a bind and willing to make modifications, it’s not the worst $200 you can spend, but just know it probably isn’t going to work as intended.

This product is a lot nicer than I expected for the price. It comes with everything needed to install and hold two kayaks. The C clamps work okay with a plastic bed liner but some trimming might allow more room for the clamps. It's also a little tall so my 5'4" wife won't be able to load kayaks by herself. Good quality, good strength, good looks, and good price. Can't beat it.

I bought this kayak carrier to install on my 5x8 utility trailer. Installed easily with C-clamps and bolted to trailer frame. Easy removal so trailer can be used for hauling other things.

Assembly was very easy, and the assembled racks feel very sturdy. They put the kayaks very high off of the ground, though.

Bought this for our two kayaks to go on my truck and pull my camp trailer. Went through all the reviews ahead of time. The bars and saddles are good and sturdy...however as stated in some of the reviews the saddles don't fit the bars well due to the mounting hardwear. I have drilled each saddle mount and bolted them in position with a single carrage bolt and locknut onto the bars...problem solved. Works like a charm.

Great value, but the fit of parts are pretty loose. This makes it easy to assemble but way less sturdy. Box shipped in was very damaged, but only minor scratches to the bars observed while unpacking.

It seems like a very sturdy rack. Putting it together and on my truck was a bit of a trial and error; the instructions were very minimal so it took a lot longer than it was supposed to.
