This really works! Curtains glide like air. Was a skeptic until I tried it. It is a rather thick plastic strip. Hoping it will stay on the rod as it does not “curve” to the shape.

We just had new custom drapes installed in our house and they are very heavy. It was a struggle to close them in our bedroom and living room each night. In my search to solve my problem, I found this tape and ordered it. OMG, game changer. I can close them now with ease. It’s not as loud either because the hooks slide so easily across the metal rod now. I highly recommend this product and will be using it on all my rods now. Super easy to apply and it’s clear so you cannot even see it on there.

Something so simple but so effective. My daughter was having trouble pulling the curtain over the rod, but with a simple product like this, its not longer a problem. Easy to install, its just tape. For the price, I would have like to see it lower for such a simple product.

This tape really works! We put it on the top of the shower curtain rod, and the rings now slide smoothly across the rod. No more popping off the rod when the rings hit the seam.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could -- I honestly cannot describe how good this tape works. It takes a bit of finessing if your curtains and rings are already on the rod, but still doable. Just take your time to feed the tape through the rings and curtain rod supports (if necessary) WITH THE BACKING STILL ON, then peel the backing off and press it to the top of the rod a little bit at a time. Even with those conditions (in my case), it was still an easy 10 minute or less job. Very very pleased with this purchase, and I'll be buying more for the rest of the curtain rods in my house. Also, just FYI for people like me who assume they know how this stuff works (without researching or reading reviews), the tape is applied to the ENTIRE curtain rod, end to end, not just to where the rods join!

I have an adjustable curtain rod and my heavy insulated drapes would be difficult to open and shut. They kept getting stuck on the adjustable part of the rod. Once I attached the strip they glide very easily.

Did I overpay since this is essentially sticky plastic? Yes. Is it also the best nonessential item I’ve ever bought? Absolutely. My partner and I love this thing. My curtains glide like butter. It’s insanely satisfying. I want to buy one for every curtain in the house.

This tape does exactly what I needed! We have curtain panels on rods that are mounted close to the ceiling in a 12 foot tall room. The curtain rings kept getting caught on the rod where the extender pieces fit together causing us to have to yank and pull on them to get them over the hump so to speak. I was afraid that if we kept doing that, eventually the rods were going to start sagging. After doing some research I found this tape through a blogger and decided to give it a try. All you have to do is cut the tape to the length of your rod (make sure it goes all the way to the brackets with no gaps at the ends, otherwise your rings will get stuck there and won't slide easily- ask me how I know this.), stick the tape to the top side of your curtain rod and that's it! The rings slide quietly and easily now and don't get caught on any sections of the rod. Perfect!

Now we have such smooth operation of our drapery! We installed extension drapery rods and the rings were always getting caught, stuck and coming out of the drapery hooks, it was so irritating. Tried a reach bar, that was a pain and didn't work. Tried this product, was very easy to install on top of rod...and it is flawless!! Drapery rings glide right over, never get stuck. This is the second whole house set we have ordered, just moved. The other set was going on one year of use, and still no problems. Highly recommend.
