Moleskine cashiers and journals are just wonderful products. They are consistently well constructed, nicely packaged, the paper is heavy (resists pen bleed-through), and you can get them lined, blank, or with those graphing dots. Plus, with lined notebooks, most lines are too far apart, whereas these are compact and allow you to write small and include a lot of info on every page. I love these!!! Also, they are easy to personalize.

I usually use the thicker notebooks, however, for what I am currently doi g, I know I'll need mess notes, so this size is perfect! Still large enough to be able to fit a lot on each page, and yet thin enough, I know it won't go to waste.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Rustico's inserts (there's are about ten dollars for a single insert), and these are lined, whereas the Rustico one was a dot grid, which I'm not a fan of. These are just a few pages less per journal, and there's THREE of them, so it's a much better deal, and I'm set for a while. If anyone is curious, I used them to put in my refillable Rustico Expedition Leather Notebook, and they fit! Just barely, if it was any bigger it would go over the side of the cover, but it's just right, and I actually like the fit more than the one it came with.Anyway, I don't have any complaints about the page thickness for these. I mostly use pencil for my journaling, and I'm not trying to make it look amazing or anything, I just want to write in a journal, so they work perfectly for my purposes.I also really like that the pages are cream colored instead of white, and the thickness of the cover surprised me. It said soft cover so I wasn't expecting it to be so thick. Overall, it's a really nice set of journals, and I will be buying again when I run out.

I bought these for my first foray into junk journaling, and they are pretty fabulous! Super sturdy and easy to bind to a hand made cover with twine. The price is the lowest I could find, and they arrived very fast.
