This is a steering stabilizer for a 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. This is the factory steering stabilizer that it comes with, and this fixed everything for my mother. I went over her vehicle and I didn’t see anything else wrong with it. She does have slightly and simple ball joints but it’s 0° in Illinois right now, but when it warms up, I will knock those out for her because they can contribute to the issue. Typically if you have death wobble or something, it’s not your steering stabilizer you have bad bushings or ball joints somewhere. My mother drives this vehicle so I need it to be safe for her. She explained that her steering felt real loose. I asked if she had any other issues and she said no it was just flighty. No bouncing no death wobble just really loose steering back-and-forth.Monroe makes great products. It was a piece of cake install. It comes with new hardware. It is a nice stiff shock. It functions flawlessly even in 0° weather keeping my mother nice and safe.
