Mounts failed during installation, I would not recommend them. If you buy these make sure to not throw away your old mounts just in case. I should've listened to the other reviews.

Both studs failed on install. The locknut is stronger than the tack weld (or knurl? I didn’t look too deep into it the original method of attachment, after hurling it across the garage) so it spins out as soon as the locknut grabs. Since there is no head on the bottom, it now makes removal of the loose mount next to impossible unless you have a wizzer wheel and completely destroy it. What a waste of time and money, for such a simple part. It would have been better served to give a loose bolt and nut so at least there was an option for tightening, but they really leave you high and dry with this.

Bought two obviously because this isn’t a set, but it doesn’t state that anywhere which is one star gone. The next comes from one boa not even having the new hardware to secure the top onto the shock. Now I’ve got to rig something together with my old stuff. Really not impressed from a brand like this. And I haven’t heard back from the company on it so that’s great.

I’m sure that this is a great component for my 18 year old e46 that needs a full rear suspension replacement. However, I made the poor assumption that this was being sold as a set since one would replace both shocks at the same time. Again, probably my fault but it doesn’t state in the product description, that I could see, that it is not a set. Just a bit annoying.

If your looking for shock mounts go with these. Comes with everything you need and is almost as close to oem

This is a part that fails frequently on BMWs, so it's wise to have at least one as a spare. Fortunately, installation is an easy DIY job.This particular mount kit is a little nicer than most since it comes complete with a gasket (to prevent metal-on-metal contact), two new locking nuts, and the two concave washers that are absolutely necessary for the installation, otherwise the mount will rupture and fail after only a few miles of driving.Pleased with the purchase.
