I previously had the KYB strut mounts installed on a 2009 Scion XD w/ new KYB starts & they only lasted 1 year, about 12,000 miles. They were completely collapsed so I replaced them with these more expensive Monroe's. When I got them, they look like the exact same thing (prob same manufacturer). For whatever reason these have a small gap (about 1/8") after tightening the top washer all the way so I had to install another washer. Only time will tell if these last. I would look into OEM part next time. Overall bad design by Toyota.**** update - they failed less than a year later.
