I hate when companies lie about things like this. 5.3 oz is still respectable and especially considering the price. I will say it appears to be very good quality for the price. I wish they would not use the white logo. It does make it look cheap.

I’ve been a longtime user of Aero Precision ultralight mounts, but after receiving a Chinese knockoff version from EBay (3 of the 4 scope ring screws stripped out during installation), I decided to see what else is out there in the budget ultralight category.I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the weight, form factor, and ease of installation of this Monstrum mount! The aluminum alloy seems correct, and I had no issues applying the specified torque to the hardware. I mounted a Primary Arms 1-10x LPVO with a 34mm tube, and it pairs well with the finish of this mount and resulted in a straightforward, solid installation.I’m taking the rifle out to zero the scope this weekend. If I have any issues, I’ll be sure to update this review.For the price, I recommend this product!

Why spend 5x when you can purchase from Monstrum? These are made of the same high quality aluminum, and machined the same way - You can't lose! Love the mount, will be purchasing more Monstrum products in the future.
