Mounts very solidly to my Glenfield 60 .22 and allows for excellent access to the iron sights. I don't foresee them loosening during use but if it does I am sure some non-permanent Loctite such as 242 or 262 would be fine. Good quality at a nice price.

It is difficult to find a dovetail sight that will fit a Ruger American Rimfire. This one works. Because the threaded fastener that applies the clamping force is distant and the long arm of the dovetail claw, I would only use this scope mount on rimfire rifles. I attached a photo of the sight picture of the open sights to show it does offer dual use. I mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 2x7 with sensible dimensions and can still use the open sights well.Remember: The rifle must have the Weaver 3/8" / 11mm dovetail mount groves common to many rimfires. Use a scope with a reasonable eyepiece and objective diameter (if you plan to use as an over-under). Only use on light recoil rifles.

These were exactly what i needed. Was going to buy some ring from a different brand but these looked way better and they were pretty well. I put these on my 78 Remington fieldmaster 572 if that helps any guys looking for a great option for that gun.

These were used to mount a scope on a 22 rifle with a dovetail rail. Perfect solid fit. Went to the range they held up nicely to a couple hundred rounds.

Mounted on a Remington field master mfd.June 1975. Leaves me plenty of space to see irons and switch from 4x to irons easily! The irons on my field master are amazing. But I needed a scope for range practice and long range shots. This was a perfect find for my platform and usecase.

The production quality is a bit rough, disappointing.
