The dovetail on this product is not even fit my Glock 17 generation five as it says it does. It’s way too loose. It doesn’t even fit absolute waste of time and money. Never again will I order from them. Now I’m stuck with a part to a gun that I don’t even own

I used this adapter base to mount a red dot on an uncut Glock 19. Very clever though obvious.Works perfectly. Do your research to get the right sight fitment.

Every Shield/J-point/Optima sight I've seen mounts with M4 screws, this is tapped for M3 Screws which are a sloppy fit in the through holes in the sight bodyThe locking set screw hole was not drilled and tapped all the way through, couldn't insert it from the top so I had to remove the mount, and the set screw was two long to allow the sight to fit the dovetail when inserted through the bottom. Had to drill out the "lip" so I could get the set screw to clear the bottom of the dovetail.Seems to be mounted solidly now, but only time will tell if it'll hold up to recoil, as every other Mount for this foot print has four recoil lugs, but this only has the front two, the M3 screws provide no support in shear only the front lugs take the load.
