I loved the color however I wouldn't say this is a document color. It does not resist water at all. I really needed a blue that was waterproof.If you are looking for ink that is water resistant/waterproof this is not it. It has a lovely flow in my fountain pen and does not clog.

Vraiment une encre imperméable. La couleur est d'un bleu assez moyen, mais l'encre est waterproof au même prix qu'une bouteille de waterman ou pelikan.

Not as good value as Noodlers - but, nothing really is and this does work well and is smooth to write with.Documental blue color is very similar to Waterman Serenity Blue from what I've noticed. Dark deep blue to start then lightens up (opposite of normal iron-gall which darkens).

I just received this ink and filled my Lamy pen with it, to try it out. Yay! I like the color, and did a water test, I really could not see any spread. I am so happy with it. Sorry I can't show you a photo, camera is not working, take my word for it.

This came in excellent packaging, with an appropriately sized box, bubble wrap around the ink bottle box, and packing peanuts to fill in the little void space that was left. This combined with the promptness of the shipping (arrived earlier than expected) give me confidence in this seller. A very fair price for the ink as well, shame that shipping cost just as much.

L'inchiostro ha un buon colore (anche se risulta un pò chiaro), è dotato di tecnologia ITF che consente di lubrificare il gruppo alimentazione della penna ed il converter/caricamento a stantuffo mantenendo la penna in uno stato di conservazione migliore rispetto ad un normale ink.Nota dolente il prezzo: €12.00 per 30 ml. La concorrenza (ndr Noodler's) produce inchiostri con tecnologia simile a ben 1/3 del prezzo e con colorazioni più sature e vivide.NB.: Noodler's eel blu/black ha un prezzo di €14.90 per ben 90 ml di prodotto.

I write lots of postcards with fountain pens. I was looking for a pretty, water resistant ink and that’s exactly what I got! I think some of the bleed from the water may be that I didn’t let the pen dry out after flushing it for the next, so there was some water in it when I refilled it. I can now ship my postcards with the confidence that the message won’t disappear in the rain! The seller packed the ink very well and it survived the post without so much as a scratch.

I have several Monteverde inks already, and I got this one specifically for addressing envelopes, as it is permanent. A really nice rich blue. Very happy to get it more than a week ahead of date promised, too.
