They work but they are very cheaply made. The belt loop is barely sewn on and any more than two pounds and it will rip.

Bought 2 for a dive trip to the PNW. For something basic that works well, I thought they were great value.Not going to last for 20 years or anything, but I'd buy them again

2 lb weight came right out on first dive even thought is was fastened. Not reliable as trim weight pockets. Could be used as small gadget pockets on a belt.
