I was looking forward to getting these rear coil springs to fix the way my 01 tahoe was leaning to the left. But it didn't give me any more of a lift. Just a normal hight ,so I had to put in a rear coil spring spacers in and I have to put shock straps on
No me funcionaron

Mi suburban 2004 se sentía horrible y ahora recuperó el andar suave, aunque las calles están hechas pedazos, ya no me duele la espalda, ahora escucho los plásticos de las puertas que ya están rotos. Pero los recomiendo ampliamente

There springs hope the hold up over time.Took 1 1/2 hrs to replace both sides on my 2006 tahoe 2wd fever hieght 36 1/2.No need to even remove tires. Remove shocks and top sway bar length bolts, jack it up till you can pull springs out. Replace in reverse.

I installed these in my 04 Tahoe that originally had the "smooth ride" option. The previous owner had already dumped the Nivomat shocks for some junky Monroe's, so I replaced those with Bilstein 4600's and these springs, since these are much cheaper than the Bilstein springs. What a difference! The rear end is no longer soft and bouncy, has a nice firm and comfortable ride, and the rear end of the car no longer feels floaty and loose on the highway. To install them, just unbolt the shocks and end links, remove the rear wheels, and let the rear end droop far enough. There's just enough slack in the brake hose to get these up there.

My 04 tahoe had the Nivomat Shock (self leaving suspension) that was worn out...i first installed the 81069 springs with a monroe shock...those springs raised the back almost 2" and caused a "top heavy" feel when not pulling a trailer...as long as there was about 400lb of weight on the bumper the ride was great..nice and smooth, but without the weight the truck just never rode well...I stopped pulling a trailer so I ended up installing the 81071 springs with Rancho shocks and the ride height is back to factory and the ride quality is perfect...

Lifted my Yukon XL back up to a level ride height. Still has a great ride with added stability. I sheared my rear sway bar in half some how, so when I installed the springs I did not have a swaybar connected and it still handled great even as a sweeved back-and-forth hard down the road. There are two different spring rates for these coil springs, the heavy duty ones I've read about actually lift the rear around 2-3 inches or so. The ones I got were about half inch to three-quarter inch.

2008 avalanche LTZ. If you get these vs the Z71 (81069 i think) you wont have to disconnect the rear diff breather tube. These are the same height as the OEM ones, with a thicker coil and 1 more coil. Raised my backend by 0.5" an appreciable improvement in load bearing, but with about 300lbs in the back the air compressor will still turn on. That being said, even when my compressor was dead, my rear end never sagged below level even with a load, so these should be fine for a coil conversion. - notable resistance to compression compared to OEM, compressor cycles less frequently
