Used these to replace leaking air springs on an 04 grand marquis. Coil spring fitment was perfect the rubber insulators needed trimming on the axle side of the mount, otherwise these springs went in simple and ride nice. The rear of the car just sightly sits higher than the front now but I'm sure once the springs settle in it'll even out. I would definitely use them again.

I paid about 30 bucks more for these springs just because they came with the spring insulators... the insulators totally didn't work on my car 1997 Towncar so I left them off and haven't looked back no squeaks or rattles at all and it rides great a little higher than the old weak air springs... it's an easy job if you have basic hand tools a pry bar and rent a spring compressor from autozone, O'rielys I usually buy all the specialty tools but this is the first time in 60 years I've needed a spring compressor...oh and there is a couple of good videos on YouTube...shows you exactly how and what is needed to do the job...Oh yes and I can't tell the difference from air springs to regular springs...

I have a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria and purchased these springs as part of a complete suspension overhaul. Original springs were listed as 'constant rate' and 160lbs rated - these Moog 81479s are rated exactly the same.It took me about 20 minutes to install them (while also replacing the rear shocks, sway bar ends & bushings) and I couldn't be happier - the car rides and handles like new.Mine came with 4 insulators, but I only needed 2 (top only for my car).
