Initially it seems the threads are too thin for the application, but they hold proper torque. Before trying to install through the knuckle and control arm bushing try to slide in the bolt into the bushing. Mine would bind about 80% through in either direction. In order to make it work you must take a flat file and file flat the first six threads closest to the excentric cam on the straight shoulder. Then you must chamfer the raised eccentric about 3/16" at about a 15degree angle closest to the head of the bolt. The reason is the cam and threads actually angle the bolt and it jams at the end, so you remove the edge material, and it goes right in.
