Replaced control arms on lexus. Exactly 3 yrs to the day, both control arms failed. MOOG warranty on amazon clearly says 3 yrs. Called Moog customer service. They say 'one year'. One would think they'd be even embarrassed that the parts only last 3 years. So i called them back and the CSR is giggling on the phone and says 'yeah. guess i was wrong. it is 3 years. But you have to go through warranty department and i have no idea how that process works'. Be warned. This company is not a trustworthy company. I put on a 2004 Highlander, but I'm sure it is the same as on Camry, Rav4 etc... Quality part with fully detachable lower ball joint. Quieted out a clunky front end because of worn bushings. Sooo much easier than replacing bushings.

Both my stock control arms has worn through the ball joints on my RX330, so I needed a good replacement. I purchased both the left and right MOOG arms and am pleased to report the vehicle has remained perfectly balanced and stabilized since the install over 3 months ago. These are excellent quality, easily comparable, if not better, than the OEM control arms.

Perfect fit for a 2005 Lexus ES330, though it does take some work to install them. Make sure you seat the rear bushing and get the bolt started or it will never work. It is helpful to disconnect the tie rod to have just a bit more room to work and install the ball joint separately after you have got the arm bolted into place. Make sure you have a couple of pry bars and a good impact. Also, removing the old ball joints can be a chore, even banging on the side of the knuckle with a hammer to shock them out took some doing.Hopefully these last for a few years. They did cure the clunking we had on the old OEMs which were tearing pretty bad at 131,000 miles.

My application was a 2010 Toyota Camry LE. I faced the age old dilemma...when you are doing struts do you do control arms at the same time. I opted to do both. The part arrive on time and in good shape with castle nut and cotter pin. You have to raise the engine on the Camry to get the control arm out...on both sides of the car. Also you have to separate the drive shaft from the hub to get clearance to get the control arm in/out. Toyota uses a staked axle nut (one time use) so plan on buying two more axle nuts. Also, you either have to grind out the stake or buy a tool to unbend the stake.. I ground mine out with a dremmel tool. To remove the axle nut you will need a 30mm 12 point deep well impact socket. Bite the bullet on this one, a six point will cause you untold grief. You will also need to separate the ball joint from the hub; there are multiple ways to do this, but you have to do it. Once you get everything out the part will install nicely. If has no slop and helps the car ride/handle well and quietly. Very pleased with this part and the result.
