Solid wood construction. Extremely well made. Most importantly our 14 month old walks upright with it. It is evenly balanced and prevents it from tipping when infant leans on the handle unlike cheaply made plastic strollers. Handle can be adjusted to meet height of child as child grows.We have wood flooring and it works great because the wood wheels have a rubber insert.
