No issue with part, solved my 2010 Jeep Wrangler 3.8l problem. It was new but in a previously opened bag, and no padding just came in a tiny envelope with no packing material. Seller got away with it, the mail managed to not hurt it somehow.

Good fit . Make sure ur engine is at operating temp. Old Comes out easier. Used a hose needle nose pliers and pried it out from passenger side of engine. Better leverage. New one pops in use a deep socket over the new pvc and tap it In gently to seat it .

I bought a 2011 Wrangler over the summer and noticed a week later it was losing massive amounts of oil! I panicked. I took the Jeep to a reputable shop and they gave me a quote for an engine replacement nearly $6,000. This was based on me telling them it was losing oil and they saw smoke coming out of the exhaust. I now know these engines have a bad reputation for burning oil. Thank goodness for google! I found this valve and replaced it within a half hour watching you tube videos! The old pcv was stuck open! I figured I didn't have much to lose and gave it a try. I fixed it myself for $15 bucks. It has been over 6 months now with no unusual oil loss.

This slipped right into the mounting location, working perfectly.

I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of the fast delivery and correct part for my 2008 dodge grand caravan. That said, getting the old pcv valve out is quite a hassle due to poor design by Chrysler. Infact it took longer to change the pcv than to change all the spark plugs and wires.

Why am I writing a review of a PCV??? So hopefully I can save some poor soul a lot of trouble. This thing sticks TIGHT in the Jeep JK 3.8, especially when the engine is cool/cold. I have never in my life seem anything like it! This 2 minute job was turning into a weekend project and skin loss! Then, at the point of despair, I read online that the trick is to remove it when the engine is warmed up. It popped right out! Whodathunkit?
