Just like the title states. The studs were high quality, just needed some grit cleaned off the threads with a small wire brush. Had some issues with the nuts however with poorly rolled threads that wouldn’t allow the nut to properly start. Ended up using the nuts from my previous studs. They were a little different from the picture in that they had a black oxide finish instead of silver zinc or stainless but I prefer the black finish anyways

Perfect length to fit my needs. Tampered top of studs makes it a lot easier to tread on the nuts.

The photo used isn't correct. The photo shows chrome studs, chrome nuts, and chrome washers. What I received is black oxide studs, standard low profile nuts, and standard washers. I need them now and will use them now, but what a disappointment! One caveat, they do have a provision for safety wire if that's your need.

I bought these extra long studs to enable using a phenolic spacer between the carburetor and engine (hot start issues on an old truck). The specified torque for these 5/16 inch studs is 12 - 15 foot lbs. Using my torque wrench I got up to 12 ft lbs before the threads on the shaft stripped. I was using the nuts that came with the studs. Unlike the photo on Amazon, the studs appeared to be black oxide coated and not the nickel/zinc coating as shown. The quality of steel used in these is very poor and I would NOT recommend using these on your vehicle.

Had previously bought carb studs from another manufacturer which were crooked. The Moroso studs were true and straight. Worked as expected.
