This set came in very handy, particularly the pull bar, for installing plank flooring. I was satisfied with the quality of the set and happy with how much easier it made installation of the plank.

For the price, under $20, consider this. The knee pads are pretty much worthless, no, you can use them as mail packing. The hammer block was casted with a slight bow and wouldn’t lay flat and splintered about 1/2 way through the project. The “z” bar was cast slightly too thick and a little too shallow to get a good hit. The hammer has a smaller handle but held up. The wedges worked well. So, for just under $20 I was able to install about 500 sq ft of gorgeous LVP which would have cost $2000 install fee if I hired someone. You get what you pay for and I’d buy it again.

This kit saved my life when installing vinyl plank flooring. It has all the tools you didn't know you needed (if it's your first time installing flooring like me). All the tools are well made and worked great! Only complaint is that the strap that holds the knee pads is very uncomfortable. It digs into the back of your knee, even through jeans. I found that taking the strap off and just sliding the pads into my leggings to hold them worked 10x better.

After doing 3 rooms with my tools at home this set made it much easier faster and better! A hint thou take a small piece and lock in then hammer the main piece in place, better no hammer marks or damage to main piece!

Finally about halfway through the flooring install so I guess I can comment. I think these work well enough for the diy'er. If I did a lot of flooring I might like a bigger or heftier set. Never having put flooring down before, a tips and tricks instructions sheet would have been handy. The mallet heads need tighten every so often and just my preference a bit heavier so not have to tap harder. The thinner flooring on the wall did not need any tools to lock together. The thick ones on the floor every one needs tapped in to lock together and it lays itself flat, it took me a few rows to figure that out. I'm glad I got them but happier as collecting dust in tool box.

The hammer is decent quality. The block (main purpose I purchased the kit) is good quality. It’s heavier than I was expecting. Once I figured out how to use it, it makes installing flooring much easier, and far less likely to damage your new flooring compared to using a 2x4.

I havent used it yet, but it is quite impressive array of handy stuff. It has the spacers for the walls, a small hammer which some comments said broke but no biggie, I have others. it has the block to tap the flooring and knee pads and pry bar. all seem really good and it was reasonably priced. And since it isn't something I do on a regular basis why pay more for a professional grade.
