For some computers to select an audio output device, double-click the sound icon in the control panel, and then select USB audio device as the default device.
You can set a higher sampling rate in the device(the sound icon at the bottom right of the computer to open the sound control panel, then select the sound card to enter the headset properties, and then select Advanced.

The 3.5 jack on my HP computer stopped working, and probably needs to be soldered or replaced. I started looking for something like this. I started looking at the reviews of several different versions of this. There were others that were a little cheaper, but the reviews were not as good. I ordered these on Thursday and Amazon delivered on Saturday. I put it in my USB port and after 30 seconds, I have music again. These are exactly what I needed. I highly recommend these if your 3.5 jack is not working! I got to have music when I am on my computer.

I bought these because my 3.5mm audio jack is on front of my computer. I did not want the extra cable showing. All I had to do was plug the adapter into one of the usb ports, then plug the speakers into the adapter. Works great.

La carte son fonctionne correctement, windows 10 a trouvé les pilotes automatiquement. Le son est bon, pas de grésillement, remplace parfaitement une carte son d'un pc fixe qui a rendu l'âme. Très bon produit 👍PS : il faut brancher un périphérique (casque, HP) en jack pour que la carte son fonctionne, sans périphérique elle n'est pas détecté. C'est important car au début j'ai cru qu'elle ne fonctionnait pas 😅

The first unit I received had constant low volume noise and a pulsing on the audio output. The microphone had the same noise and pulse but very loud. The device was completely unusable. I got a replacement through Amazon. The replacement was also defective. The audio output was ok, but there was once again constant noise and pulsing on the microphone input, though at low volume this time. It would probably filter out with noise suppression in apps that have that feature, but it's not worth the trouble to me. I just want my money back.To be sure, I tested the adapter on all of my USB ports. And, I ordered another adapter from a different brand and it works perfectly with no noise. My guess is that the MOSWAG device is picking up noise on the ground and other devices do a better job of filtering it out. Maybe it works for others who have a cleaner power supply. Just a guess.

The “MOSWAG USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter, USB to Audio Jack Adapter, External Sound Card Converter” works great! My laptop’s 3.5mm Jack for audio isn’t working, so I got this adapter, and now I can plug my earbuds in using my USB-A port as an audio port. This is an excellent audio converter. I highly recommend this product.

I recently received a cochlear implant, and since then I have not been able to stream audio from my laptop. With this USB adapter, I was able to take my 3.5 mm TV cochlear streamer, attach the double 3.5 mm cable into the adapter, plug the USB into my laptop, and voila! I can now stream and hear on my laptop. It was super easy, plug and play, and I did not have to change any settings! I tried it on a couple of different USB connections on my laptop and they all worked fine. This will help tremendously with my aural therapy for my cochlear implant training.
