We needed to replace our door chime since it was battery operated and we were tired to replacing the batteries. This door chime is perfect since it can run on battery or plugged in. Set up was simple since chime and sensor was synced out of the box. Area coverage is good at 10 foot radius and perfect for our above the door mount. Chime is loud and clear.

This works exceptionally well.You can vary the sound level, and the sound levels are reasonable. You can also mute the sound if you like.There are a wide variety of sounds to choose from. There are very pleasant sounds like a simple doorbell to loud alarm sounds.It comes with batteries for the transmitter, 2 AAA batteries. I like when devices use ordinary batteries like AA and AAA.I had the transmitter and receiver at two ends of my house, front to back. The transmitter was outside. I would estimate 40 to 50 feet apart with 3 walls in between. And the device worked.

I’m really impressed with this Wireless Motion Sensing Alert sensor. It has an excellent range for motion detection and offers both silent flashes and audible chimes for notifications. The installation is a breeze since there are no wires to deal with, and most importantly, it works flawlessly. We tested it multiple times, and it detected motion every single time, promptly notifying us on the indoor alert monitor.One small drawback is that the unit can only be turned on or off by removing the batteries. It would be more convenient if it had an on/off switch. Additionally, I wish it supported rechargeable batteries for added sustainability. Despite these minor points, it’s a good device that does exactly what it’s supposed to do!

I am always wondering when the mail has shown up. Since I can't see the mailbox from inside the house I often go out to check and nothing is there, this device solved that issue. At first I was not sure it would work as we have thick metal mailboxes where I live, but I gave it a try anyway. Now when the mailbox door is opened the device alerts me and I don't waste time checking for nothing. The only improvement I could see is that it would link via wifi to my phone to give me an alert there as well.
