It’s not too challenging working on brakes. Bleeding brakes was always a hassle as a one man band until I used this simple yet genius equipment. Had a horrible experience with harbor freight products and I was always chasing bubbles whenever I had to replace a caliper. My hopes were answered, I had to replace a caliper and flush my brake fluid. A couple minutes of pumping lead to quick work of a fluid flush. Just be sure to order the correct brake reservoir cap for your vehicle to sustain pressure. One crack of a bleeder screw, fluid was pumping. Air bubbles nearly eliminated in seconds. Very impressed. Follow the directions and view a couple videos and its way easy to use. The pedal for my brakes feels as firm as it should. If I could give 10 stars I would!

It worked really well for flushing and bleeding my brakes. The cap for my brake fluid reservoir came with 2 gaskets, both the same thickness. One might have worked, but still felt a little loose and was leaking a little pressure. I tried adding the second gasket, but then it was too thick to screw the cap on. I read another review where the person solved this by cutting their own thinner gasket. Luckily I had some thinner gasket material and cut out my own. Then it worked perfectly.

I wish I had been able to buy this product 50 years ago. It worked perfectly the very first time, and made the job of a complete brake fluid flush quick and easy. While this was my first brake system flush, I will be using it every time I just need to bleed my brakes also. No more need to have someone pumping the brake pedal while you fuss with the bleed valve and have to keep getting up periodically to refill the reservoir. It is a well-made product of heavy duty plastic with an easy to read pressure indicator. I used this particular model 0103 on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L, and also purchased the attachment to use it on my 2011 Toyota Tundra. Will update in the future to see how it works there.

I have always been hesitant to work on car brakes because it has required two people in the past. Although I did consider purchasing a vacuum bleeder, I found them to be prone to error. However, after reading about this pressure bleeder, I decided to buy it in order to flush the brakes on my 2013 Ram 1500 after completing a brake job. Unfortunately, the left rear bleeder ended up breaking, so I had to replace the caliper. Despite this setback, the pressure bleeder worked flawlessly. I encountered zero issues with it fitting on my master cylinder, and it was easy to flush my brakes by pumping it to 15psi. As a result, I have decided to incorporate it into my yearly maintenance routine. My only concern now is how the residual brake fluid will affect the plastic components.

Had to use a file to reduce the 3 tabs on cover in order to have it fit on the master cylinder

The dealer told me I should flush my brake fluid due to color. It's been 2 years since I bought the truck, so I said, I'll take care of that. It's a pressure bleeder that is needed to do the job. Put in a liter of brake fluid. Suction out the old fluid from the reservoir, attach the cap included with this Motive Pressure Bleeder and pump it up to about 10 psi as indicated on the gauge on the front of the bottle. Then proceed to the right rear brake bleeder screw. Attach flare wrench, and a suitable hose going to a catch bottle. Open the bleeder and let the fluid go into the catch bottle. Looks like Coca Cola coming out of the system (bad). Keep bleeding until it comes out looking like what you poured into the container up front. It's a good idea to go up where the bottle is and keep the pressure pumped up and make sure you don't empty the bottle. Once clear fluid is coming out, close that bleeder and move to left rear wheel. Then right front and finally left front. NO FOOT PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL! No second person needed! The pressurized bottle does all the work for you. Enjoy! You just saved paying the dealer $200 and did it yourself.

Marked my master cylinder cap put a dot on cap open and directly under then tightened closed and marked the master cylinder reservoir exactly closed roughly 90* or 15 minutes if we were looking at the circle cap being a clock . Put a dot on the bleeder cap lined up with the open dot on reservoir then turned all the way to the closed dot and turned it snug afterwards . With the rubber cap gasket that is inside of the bleeder cap . Pumped to 15 lbs with 2/3 reservoir full after I Turkey based outThe old brake fluid and topped off with new fluid . Went back to rear passenger side to start my bleeding but I needed another wrench so climbed out from under truck and double checked the psi on bleeder . Luckily I had a small pan with rags under the master cylinder the gasket is not thick enough but exactly the thickness of a multi gasket sheet , because I was not sure how thick I was going to have to build up the gasket that came with. So I cut 3 with scissors tracing the one that was supposed to be sufficient. I added 2 and saw it was to tight . So I added one and no more leaking at connection, which pushed out about 2qts . Luckily I needed to get another wrench. Very disappointed because I could have bought a generic version almost identical for 50% less $$$ the kit should have had a couple of extra rubber gaskets for a selection for a perfect fit how much would a couple of loose gaskets cost ! Most people would have considered it defective or non functional

Fits with old master cylinder cap seal which you will have to cut and fit to allow air pressure to push fluid thru system remember you must still bench bleed master cylinder if you are replacing it , if you are just changing fluid or a line you good to go

It worked very well, although it was a bit slower than I expected. At 10 PSI, it took about 5 minutes to flush the longest line (to the right rear caliper). This is not an issue with the power bleeder, I'm just mentioning it so that others know what to expect. I'll be ordering adapters for my other cars...

This is the second adapter I have in my toolbox now and it makes brake bleeding a simple one-person job. It is a bit pricey for what you get and I did have a problem with this unit. They supply two washers for the cap to get a tight seal and I had to use both at the same time. The problem was two washers is too much and I had a tough time getting the cap on the master cylinder reservoir. I was afraid of breaking either the cap or the reservoir. Luckily I just use the air pressure in the tank to push the brake fluid through the lines. I have to remove the cap to top off the reservoir more often and eventually the tabs on the cap started to bend outward resulting in a slight air leak (- 1 star). I did get the job done though and I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.
