Warning error codes, lamp rejection, excessive flickering, and no flickering or burnt out lamp indications.
The load resistor will heat up during normal use because it is a resistor that needs to draw excessive current in the circuit for the LED to work.
There is won't necessarily fix all flickering issues, some car models require a different type of capacitors or resistors.
